The Sister City Jazz Band visits MVM!
The students had a great day on Friday as The Sister City Jazz Band visited MVM. The concert was very entertaining and educational as the band took us through a musical timeline of jazz and history. It was a fun performance as we also got to hear how jazz has influenced cartoons and video games.
Later in the concert, another surprise! Mrs. Moran, our strings teacher joined the band along her brother who is the drummer of The Sister City Jazz Band AND with four of our students. What a great performance.
