Stop Motion Animation inspired by Keith Haring, 5th Grade
We studied the art of 80's artist Keith Haring and noticed his bold use of form, color and movement. We then drew sketches of our own Keith Haring critters before making them out of modeling clay. After sets were built, along with story lines, we filmed them on the iPads using a stop motion animation app and edited them in iMovie. Great job everyone!

Teacher Appreciation Week, Thanks PTA
This is what we can into this past Monday morning! First of all, it was my birthday on Monday & this was on my door! And this was just the beginning! They organized surprises for us all week. From apples, and Verizon gift certificate to a beautiful soup buffet with 8 or 9 homemade soups, breads and salad. And today, we received beautiful plants & thank you notes. Thank you MVM PTA!

6th grade Social Studies making Art!
Mr. Naventi's 6th grade Social Studies class made this fantastic group project gridded from Picasso's Three Musicians. I love seeing art being done outside of the art room!
