I was fortunate enough to take a field trip to the Norman Rockwell Museum with Mrs.Tesoniero, our computer teacher and my mentor. They have a fantastic new exhibit called Behind the Camera.

Family Fun Night!

Families of 5th & 6th grade students were invited to Family Fun night this past Thursday. A spaghetti dinner, Rock Band, karaoke, volleyball, board games, and an art project were enjoyed by all!

Fall Watercolors

Shangri-La Chinese Acrobat Troupe

The entire school was lucky enough to go to the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Theatre to see the Shangri-La Chinese Acrobat Troupe. The show was incredible! Glue Prints

5th graders made these colorful glueprints by creating glue and cardboard to make printing plates. They explored overlapping printing inks as well as selectively printing certain colors on their glue printing plates.

Project Sprout Seed Packets

These will be featured in an art show at the Project Sprout Garden this spring along with spring seed packets done by my future 5th graders in the spring.

Picasso Inspired Portraits

 Picasso Inspired Portraits
These fun portraits required no realistic skin or hair colors. They had to include pattern, line & shape as Picasso's portraits always did. The 5th graders did a great job!
