Egypt Festival, 7th grade

The Egyptian faience that you see blow were a collaborative effort between science and art. Jane Burke from Flying Cloud worked with the 7th grade science classes as well as myself to create these beautiful pieces.

Sculptural Teapots, 8th Grade

8th Grade students created these Sculptural Teapots from Clay. Each teapot had to have a vessel (to hold tea), a spout, a lid and a handle. Some teapots had a combined lid & spout so the structure of the sculpture would made sense. Some teapots had a combined vessel and handle. What ever the case may be, students were challenged to think outside the box (teapot, that is!).

Pop Art Pedestals, 5th Grade

Students picked a pop art icon, or someone who they admired to put on a pedestal. The figures had to be on either Ionic or Doric columns. Great job!
