These are so cool- I've heard of it before but have never tried it. Did you take class in order to be able to teach it? Is it at all tricky/dangerous with 8th graders? (ie-any molten hot glass issues?)
No, it's really easy. Basically just sticking glass in a kiln, more or less. My husband is a glass blower and lamp worker so he did help me pick out the glass as far as the right COE and the right annealer. Not dangerous since the students don't touch the annealer.
